Olivia is a sophomore studying Journalism and Electronic Media with a concentration in News. She started writing as a contributor for The Daily Beacon at the beginning of her freshman year and was promoted to staff writer within a month of writing. In this role, and as the campus governance beat reporter, she produced award-winning investigative journalism surrounding academic freedom. A member of the Wilson Leadership Academy and a volunteer for the Community Gardening Club, Olivia’s goal is to give back to Knoxville through in-depth reporting and community service before graduating in the spring of 2028.
