Alex Sarkis, Fall Asst. Sports Editor, Spring Sports Editor
Alex Sarkis is a senior majoring in sports journalism and has been with the Beacon since the beginning of his freshman year. He hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is extremely passionate about all things black and gold. He spends his summers often questioning his unwavering loyalty to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He grew up an athlete, partaking mainly in hockey and baseball. This background sparked his love for sports. It’s very hard for him to go ten minutes without thinking about them. He looks forward to continuing in his role as assistant sports editor in the fall and transitioning to section leader in the spring.
