Lauren Holladay is a senior majoring in journalism and electronic media. She joined The Daily Beacon in August of 2023 as a freshman copy editor and quickly developed a passion for thoughtful, precise editing. As a journalist, Lauren’s work consists of stories that amplify unheard voices, ensuring that important perspectives are shared and published with care. Outside of the newsroom, you will find her volunteering at Young Williams Animal Center, where she enjoys walking and caring for dogs (she misses her own dog, Leroy, dearly), or at Chipotle, which she frequents at least twice per week (she was briefly ranked as the campus’s No. 4 Chipotle U member in the fall of 2025). Lauren looks forward to continuing to grow as a journalist and editor while helping the Beacon serve the UT community with integrity and clarity.
