Harper Brabson is a sophomore currently studying anthropology. This is her first year at the Beacon, and she is excited to work with a team of talented and ambitious writers to serve the UT and Knoxville community. Harper is passionate about presenting factual, unbiased news as part of a reputable organization during a time in which social media serves as many individuals’ primary news source. In her free time, you can often find her exploring new trails in the Smoky Mountains, binge watching Grey’s Anatomy, or finding a new favorite band on Spotify.
