I swear, reading The Daily Beacon each morning has turned into a “Two Minutes Hate” straight out of George Orwell’s “1984.”
Instead of Emmanuel Goldstein, one of The Party’s enemies in “1984,” being the one hissed at and insulted, it is columnist Anna Parker. It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a bonfire rally in the works to burn her controversial writings. After all, in addition to the number of letters to the editor concerning her, there was a campus forum among various student organizations and student activists earlier in this semester.
Stop all the Parker hating.
