All week leading up to Halloween, there will be many themed events happening on and off campus. If you enjoy getting spooked, fall treats and themed activities, these are some fun events that you definitely shouldn’t miss.
Haunted Campus — Oct. 29
Hosted by the Center for Student Engagement, fall activities, a haunted house and fall treats will be offered for students who attend. Haunted Campus will take place in the Student Union ballroom and plaza from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
UTIA Fall Festival — Oct. 30
This family friendly event, hosted by the Herbert College of Agriculture and the student organization Collegiate Farm Bureau, 4-H and FFA will have trick or treating, lots of costumes and interactive exhibits. This event will take place at Morgan Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
ACE Pumpkin Carving — Oct. 30
At this event there will be pumpkin carving and painting as well as pumpkin flavored foods. To stay within the Halloween theme, a classic movie will also be showing throughout the event. Pumpkin Carving will be happening at International House in the Great Room from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Haunted Corn Maze — Oct. 30 – Oct. 31
The Center for Student Engagement will be hosting a Haunted Corn Maze for $5. It will be open Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. Tickets should be purchased online and picked up at the Student Union ticket office. The Haunted Corn Maze is located in Greenback, Tennessee, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Halloween Concert: Spooky Pianos — Oct. 31
UT pianists will be performing spooky Halloween music, and costumes are encouraged to be worn. This concert will take place at the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center in the Sandra G. Powell Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Halloween with Big Something — Oct. 31
After over a decade of history touring together and 7 studio albums released, the rock band from North Carolina Big Something will be taking on Bijou Theatre. This concert will be at the Bijou Theatre at 8 p.m.
Tennessee vs. Oklahoma Football Game — Nov. 1
Perfect to wrap up Halloweekend, the Tennessee vs. Oklahoma football game will be played at home in Neyland Stadium. Fans are very happy about a night game with the kickoff time being 7:30 p.m..
