Update as of May 5: Samuel Chugg has been located and is safe, according to UTPD.
The University of Tennessee Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate student Samuel Chugg, 17, who was last seen leaving his home in West Knoxville Thursday morning.
Chugg’s vehicle, a a silver 2017 Toyota Yaris, was last spotted at approximately 7:45 a.m. It was near the 2200 block of Cumberland Avenue and was heading in the direction of campus.
Chugg is described as a 5-foot-7-inch white male with brown hair, blue eyes and a slender build. The last known clothing he was wearing was a blue hoodie with whitewashed jeans.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Knoxville Fire Department was called to the scene of a house fire in Fort Sanders. The fire was located on the far East side of Forest Avenue near The Hill Bar & Grill.
