This restaurant recently moved into the old Ruby Tuesday’s spot to bring more choices to the Strip. At a time when many places are forced to leave the Strip, pizza places seem to thrive off the college atmosphere.

Joe’s provides just that kind of atmosphere. When you walk in the door, you know you’re on campus without being blinded by all the orange. The décor is laid back, and the lighting is dim enough for a nap. Overall, the atmosphere is very calm and collected.

As everyone knows, the service can make or break the restaurant experience. The Joe’s crew is very friendly. The servers greet you as soon as the door opens and take you straight to the seating area.

When glancing at the menu, one might be surprised at the vast assortment of food that Joe’s offers. As the name implies, the restaurant has pizza, pasta and subs, but the buck doesn’t stop there. It also has salads, chicken and cheesecake.

One might be wondering ‘how do they stack up against competition such as Mellow Mushroom and Stefano’s?’

Joe’s can definitely run with the Strip pizza pack. Pie prices range from $8.50 to $13.95, depending on the size.

As far as taste comparisons go, Joe’s comes out better than many of the chain pizzerias. A Joe’s pizza has thin crust with as much cheese as one can stand, and as common sense tells us, the more cheese the better.

Additionally, the Joe’s crew is certainly not stingy with the serving sizes. One slice is double the size of a typical slice. Drinks are also served in large amounts so one doesn’t have to worry about refills in the middle of the meal.

At the end of the day, the crew is more than happy to provide its guests with ‘doggie bags,’ and guests are more than glad to be taking home breakfast.
