After an unexpected death, Madea must bring her family together in order to plan the funeral and hilarity ensues. This is a must-see film for fans of Madea, as Tyler Perry has announced that this will be the last film in the series. The film stars Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis and Patrice Lovely. After moving to New York City, a young woman named Frances finds a handbag on the subway and returns it to its owner, Greta. Greta is an older, widowed woman and, after recently losing her own mother, Frances grows close to Greta quickly. Things begin to unravel, however, when Frances begin to discover that Greta is not what she seems. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Isabelle Huppert, Zawe Ashton and Maika Monroe. “Greta” is written and directed by Academy Award winning director Neil Jordan and looks to be a thrilling, suspenseful ride. Apollo 11
“Apollo 11” is a new documentary showcasing the journey of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s trip to the moon on the Apollo 11 mission. The film features never-before-seen footage from the mission from over fifty years ago. Those who saw the recent biopic about the life of Neil Armstrong, “First Man”, may want to see “Apollo 11” to see the real-life events that inspired the film. Climax
“Climax”, the critically acclaimed dance drama that took Europe by storm in 2018, finally makes its way to US screens this weekend. One night in 1996, a dance troupe made up of young, passionate dancers meet at a remote, abandoned school to rehearse. Their rehearsal and celebration quickly turns into a nightmare, however, when they learn that the drinks being served at the rehearsal were spiked with LSD. The film stars a cast of professional dancers and is full trippy dance sequences that will impress any fan of dance or psychedelic imagery. Anyone looking for an out-of-this-world time at the theater will not want to miss “Climax” this weekend.
