Year of October
Year of October is a rock band that originated in the music city of Nashville. Their lead singer, according to Spotify, has a similar voice to Amy Winehouse. On June 12, this band will be at the Preservation Pub. This bar is the perfect place to listen to live music down in Market Square. There are three rooftop levels as well as colorful fluorescent lights.
Lucinda Williams
At Bijou Theatre, Lucinda Williams will take the stage on June 21. Williams started out writing folk songs and independently crafted her songs to have a rock twist. Not only is she known for her strong vocals, but she is also a skilled solo guitarist.
Randall King
Randall King will perform at Cotton Eyed Joe on June 21. There is no better place to listen to country music than the Cotton Eyed Joe because of the line dancing and everyone in their country boots.
Fooz Fighters
The Concourse is hosting the Fooz Fighters — a rock band that covers the popular rock band the Foo Fighters. According to the band’s website, this band was nominated for Tribute Artist of the Year at the 2020 Musivv Digital Music Awards. This band is known for bringing the same electric energy as the Foo Fighters. They will play on June 22.
Doobie Brothers
A major hit in the 1970s, the Doobie Brothers are performing on July 14 at the Food City Center. This band created essential rock songs that will forever be remembered. Known for their classic rock music, their talent allows them to play several types of genres including soft country with a twist of jazz pop.
Ben Folds
Ben Folds will perform on July 18 at the Tennessee Theatre. Folds is a great musician and lyricist as he published a New York Times bestseller. Through his piano pop hits and performances with alternative rock bands, Fold’s music serves a little bit of everything.
Black Joe Lewis
Black Joe Lewis is a guitarist and singer who plays music with a blend of soul and classic blues in a pumped way. Lewis will perform at the Bijou Theatre Center on Saturday, July 20.

Ernest
Ernest is an upcoming country artist who gains popularity by the minute. Ernest is known for collaborating with big time country artists like Morgan Wallen. They collaborated on their major hit called “Flower Shops.” He is playing on Oct. 17 at the Mill and Mine.
Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is coming to perform on Oct. 25 at Food City Center. Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, Jelly Roll continues to build a name for himself as he has received accolades from several institutions including iHeartRadio, the Grammys, CMT Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards.
Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is making his way to Food City Center on Nov. 19. With major hits from the early 2000s, Timberlake remains one of the biggest pop musicians in the music industry. He released his debut album, “Justified,” in 2002 which sold more than seven million copies worldwide.
