A female facilities services employee was found deceased in the Min Kao Electrical Engineering and Computer Science building from a medical condition Tuesday morning.
According to UT Police Department Primary Public Officer Lola Alapo, the Knoxville Police Department, UTPD, ambulance and medical examiner arrived at the scene shortly after the discovery around 9:35 a.m. and KPD has alerted the family of the deceased.
As of 2 p.m., Room 406 remained closed but has since been reopened for public use.
