What has been the most rewarding experience for you at UT?
“One of my most rewarding experiences at UT has been the education and opportunities I have received. The nutrition department is an incredible vehicle for whatever you want to make your college experience. I have accomplished so much in the last two years that I would never have ever imagined possible. I have learned so much about research and have had the chance to grow as a leader. I think the most rewarding experience, overall, has been meeting people just as passionate for wellness and making a difference as I am. It’s both inspiring and contagious.”
What is one improvement you want to see occur on campus?
“I think the one improvement I would like to see is a bigger voice and consideration for students from the administration when they have a passion for change. Students are what make this university what it is, and I believe it should move in the direction the students would like to move to.”
What mark do you hope to leave on campus or in Knoxville when you graduate?
“On campus, I hope to leave enthusiasm and a sense of initiative for the Get Fruved! student organization. I think this organization can continue to make strong connections around campus and bring positive change to the students. I hope I had a strong enough impact to help keep it going.”
