Our take: A chance for Knoxville native to get nostalgic and stay in the now. Former Java house band the Bad Dudes return with a new album, but promise their old hits (which due to editorial strictures cannot be printed here). Recommended accessories: whiskey, snakeskin boots and a melee weapon.

Our take: Probably a bit pricey, but for the ambiance and quality of the show, The Square Room is always a good bet for an evening of fun.

Our take: Eleven years after “Sippin’ on Some Sizzurp,” Three 6 sideman Project Pat is still going strong on what he knows best: the freshest intoxicants and partying. It’s only natural that a fraternity is sponsoring the event.
