Josh Dobbs shows confidence during Orange and White Game

Quinten Dormady wasn’t the Tennessee starting quarterback, but he was putting pressure on the person who held that position on Saturday at Neyland stadium.


The freshman early enrollee was orchestrating a clinic during the quarterback challenge at the end of the first half at the Orange and White game, masterfully hitting every throwing target the challenge had to offer. His performance might have been perfect had he hit the garbage cans in the corner of the endzone.

Notebook: Defense wins Orange and White Game in comeback fashion

Butch Jones mentioned the importance of forcing turnovers several times throughout spring practice. 

Whenever the Tennessee defense forces one of these “ball disruptions,” rising junior cornerback Cam Sutton is usually involved in the play.

That followed suit again in Saturday’s Orange and White game, as it was Sutton who made the play of the day for the Orange team.

Sutton disrupted an attempt to pitch the ball to receiver Pig Howard on a double reverse, and the ball shot up in the air.  Sutton pulled it down and jogged the remaining twenty yards to the end zone for the ...
